McLeod settled into his NHL home in upstate New York when he signed a four-year, $20 million contract with the Buffalo Sabres on July 1, 2025, after setting what was NHL career highs in points (53), goals (20), assists (33), plus/minus (plus-13) and average ice time per game (16:50).
