



Sikura, a forward taken by the Chicago Blackhawks in the sixth round (No. 178) of the 2014 NHL Draft, made his NHL debut a memorable one, with two assists against the Winnipeg Jets on March 29, 2018.
Sikura spent four seasons at Northeastern University, developing into a top professional prospect.
As a sophomore in 2015-16, he helped Northeastern win the Hockey East championship. As a junior in 2016-17 he was second on the team with 57 points (21 goals, 36 assists) in 38 games and was named a Hockey East Second-Team All-Star.
Sikura returned for his senior season in 2017-18 and finished second on Northeastern and third among all NCAA players with 54 points (22 goals, 32 assists) in 35 games. He was named to the Hockey East All-Tournament Team, was a Hockey East First-Team All-Star, helped Northeastern win the Beanpot Championship for the first time since 1988 and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, given to the best player in NCAA Division I. Sikura also did well against a higher level of competition, with one assist in four games to help Canada win the Spengler Cup.
He signed a two-year contract with the Blackhawks on March 25, 2018, and averaged 13:24 of ice time in playing the final five games of the season.
