Acquired by the Rangers on January 31, 2025, Jackson Dorrington competed as an assistant captain in his third season at Northeastern University in 2024-25. He recorded two goals and a career-high 13 assists for a career-high 15 points and registered 46 blocks, ranked third among all Hockey East skaters. Before Northeastern, he played for Des Moines of the USHL, recording 11 points (3G-8A) in 41 games, and was named a 2022 BioSteel All-American. Dorrington was originally selected by the Canucks in the sixth round, 176th overall, of the 2022 NHL Draft.
