Moore signed a two-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks on June 25, 2026, after he had 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 67 games of his first full NHL season to help the Ducks clinch a Stanley Cup Playoff berth for the first time since 2018. He scored his first NHL postseason goal against the Vegas Golden Knights in Game 4 of the Western Conference Round.
While Moore split the 2025-26 season playing defenseman and forward, his scored four goals to tie Jamie Drysdale, Drew Helleson and Pavel Mintyukov for the most by a Ducks rookie defenseman in 12 seasons. He scored his first NHL goal at the Dallas Stars on Nov. 1, joining Steve Konowalchuk, Trevor Lewis and Dylan Olsen as the four players born in Utah to score in the League.
Moore was Anaheim's third-round pick (No. 67) in the 2020 NHL Draft and signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Ducks on April 12, 2025, after four seasons at Harvard University (56 points; nine goals, 47 assists in 122 games from 2021-25), where he helped the Crimson to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances (2022, '23). He signed an amateur tryout with San Diego of the American Hockey League on March 20, 2025, and had five points (one goal, four assists) in nine games.
As a freshman at Harvard, Moore was named to the ECAC Hockey All-Rookie Team, an All-Ivy League Honorable Mention and ECAC Hockey All-Tournament Team selection after he had 15 points (two goals, 13 assists) and a plus-16 rating in 35 games. He helped Chicago of the United States Hockey League to the 2021 Clark Cup championship and was the first high school player selected in his NHL Draft year. The native of Salt Lake City grew up playing at St. Mark's School (Southborough, Massachusetts) and led New England Prep Hockey defensemen with 46 points (12 goals, 34 assists) in 28 games of the 2019-20 season.
Moore also played for the United States at the 2022 IIHF World Junior Championship, where he had one assist in five games.
