Pelletier found a new home in the NHL when he signed a three-year contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning on July 2, 2025, after splitting the prior season between the Calgary Flames and Philadelphia Flyers. The forward was traded to the Flyers by the Flames on Jan. 31.
The Quebec City native made his NHL debut with the Flames against the Lightning on Jan. 21, 2023, subsequently splitting time between the League and the American Hockey League. He played for Moncton and Val-d'Or in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League. Internationally, Pelletier played for Canada at the 2019 IIHF Under-18 World Championship and won a silver medal at the 2021 IIHF World Junior Championship.
