John Beecher signed a one-year, $900,000 contract with the Boston Bruins on June 30, 2025, coming off his second full season in the NHL, when he had 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 78 games.
The Elmira, New York, native was selected by the Bruins in the first round (No. 30) of the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. He joined the Bruins organization after three seasons at the University of Michigan when he signed an amateur tryout agreement with Providence of the American Hockey League on April 13, 2022, and then his entry-level contract with Boston on May 16 of that year.
