* Tallied the first goal of his NHL career on Oct. 13, 2021 vs. Chicago. * Recorded his first career point with an assist on Jan. 22, 2021 at Anaheim. * Made his NHL debut on Jan. 21, 2021 at Los Angeles. * Played in 20 playoff games with Colorado and recorded nine points (0+9) en route to winning the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022. * Led all defensemen in the 2022 Stanley Cup Playoffs in plus/minus (plus-15). * Appeared in his 100th NHL game on Nov. 1, 2023 vs. St. Louis. * Finished the 2023-24 season tied for eighth among all NHL defensemen in even-strength goals. * Became the 20th defenseman in NHL history, and the first in Sabres history, to record three or more goals in their first three games with a franchise. * Appeared in his first game with the Sabres on March 7 at Nashville and joined John Van Boxmeer (Oct. 11, 1979; 0+2) and Lee Fogolin (March 7, 1987; 0+2) as the only Sabres defensemen acquired in a trade to notch multiple points in their debut with Buffalo. * Became the first defenseman acquired by Buffalo in a trade to record a goal in their debut with the Sabres since Alexei Zhitnik on Feb. 15, 1995. * Played in his 200th NHL game on Dec. 27, 2024 vs. Chicago.

* Notched 150 points (46+104) in 188 regular-season games and 33 points (11+22) in 29 postseason games with the Vancouver Giants (WHL) from 2016-20. * Served as an alternate captain with Vancouver for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. * Earned the CHL Top Draft Prospect Award and participated in the CHL Top Prospects Game in 2018-19. * Recorded 52 points (14+38) in 50 games and was named to the WHL (West) Second All-Star Team in 2019-20. * Named to the WHL (West) First All-Star Team after recording 71 points (26+45) in 67 regular-season games for Vancouver in 2018-19. * In 2018-19, he led all WHL defensemen in goals and finished third in points in the regular season. Recorded 26 points (8+18) in the playoffs and led all skaters in assists and points, becoming the first defenseman ever to lead the WHL in postseason scoring.
