A second-round pick (No. 58) by the Arizona Coyotes in the 2014 NHL Draft, Dvorak has made his mark in various leagues and tournaments.

Take his performances in 2015-16 alone. Skating on a line with NHL first-round draft picks Matthew Tkachuk and Mitchell Marner, Dvorak led London of the Ontario Hockey League with 121 points during the regular season and helped it win the league title. He led the OHL with 52 goals, was second with 121 points and third in playoff points with 35.

Dvorak then scored a tournament-high seven goals to help London win the Memorial Cup. He also had three goals and eight points in seven games for the United States in a third-place finish at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship.

Dvorak had a highly productive 2014-15 season. Rebounding from an offseason knee injury, he was fifth in the OHL with 109 points in 66 games. He had back-to-back six-point games, Dec. 31, 2014, and Jan. 2, 2015, against Sarnia.

The Palos, Illinois-born forward made his professional debut for Portland of the American Hockey League on April 18, 2015 and scored his first AHL goal the following day against Worcester. Dvorak then played in five Calder Cup playoff games.

Dvorak made his NHL debut with one assist against the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 15, 2016 and scored his first NHL goal on Nashville Predators goalie Pekka Rinne on Nov. 3, 2016. He signed a six-year contract extension with the Coyotes on Aug. 9, 2018 but had surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle Oct. 19. He returned Feb. 26, 2019 and finished the season with seven points (two goals, five assists) in 20 games.

Dvorak played three seasons with the Montreal Canadiens before signing a one-year, $5.4 million contract with the Flyers on July 1, 2025. He signed a five-year, $25.75 million contract with the Flyers (average annual value of $5.15 million) on Jan. 5, 2026.
