Signed by the Rangers as a free agent on July 13, 2022, Vincent Trocheck led the NHL in faceoff percentage (59.3), among skaters who’ve taken 1,000 or more faceoffs in 2024-25, his 910 overall faceoff wins ranked third in the league and ranked third most among Rangers skaters for a single season since 1997-98. His six shorthanded goals last season tied for the second most in a single season by a Ranger in history and shared the league lead for the most among all NHL skaters. He became the first Ranger to take at least 13 faceoffs in a game and win every single one of them since the NHL began tracking. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native represtented his country at the 2013 IIHF World Junior Championship recording six points (3G, 3A) in seven games to help the U.S. capture the gold medal. He also suited up for Team USA at the 2014 IIHF World Championship and was part of Team North America at the 2016 World Cup.
