When he agreed to a one-year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs on July 1, 2017, it marked a return to one of the 10 teams he's played for during a career that's seen him become one of the NHL's most valuable checking forwards.

The New York Rangers selected Moore in the third round (No. 95) in the 2000 NHL Draft. He joined the Rangers late in the 2003-04 season after playing four seasons at Harvard and made the NHL for good with New York in 2005-06, finishing with 18 points (nine goals, nine assists) in 82 games.
