MVP of Regular Season
He wore No. 15, played center for the Boston Bruins and was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame more than a half-century ago, when John Diefenbaker was the prime minister of Canada and John F. Kennedy was president of the United States.
Milt Schmidt, born March 5, 1918, is the only man in the history of the Boston Bruins to have his name on the Stanley Cup four times. No less an authority than Bobby Orr considers Schmidt to be the greatest Bruin of them all.
