Status report

Sergachev, who exited a 5-3 win at the New Jersey Devils on Tuesday because of an upper-body injury, will be in the lineup, Mammoth coach Andre Tourigny said. ... Cossa was the first goaltender off the ice after Utah's morning skate, indicating he will start. ... McAvoy will serve the fifth of a six-game suspension by the NHL Department of Player Safety, which the defenseman received for slashing Buffalo Sabres forward Zach Benson during Game 6 of the Eastern Conference First Round last season.
