FDNY, NYPD hockey teams join Rangers on ice for 9/11 memorial tribute

In first home game since 25th anniversary of tragedy, New York honors first responders

In their first home game since the 25th anniversary of the tragic September 11th attacks, the New York Rangers honored the heroic men and women who kept New York City together.

Members of the FDNY and NYPD ice hockey teams lined the ice as the Rangers were introduced to the Madison Square Garden crowd.

The Rangers shared a tribute to the first responders on social media.
