Hawks captain jersey swaps with pro golfers at international tournament

With the season opener just around the corner, the Chicago Blackhawks made time for one more trip to the links: a visit to the 2026 Presidents Cup tournament on Friday.

The biennial tournament – hosted at Medinah Country Club, just 25 miles outside of Chicago, this year – features a team from the United States and an International Team competing for the Presidents Cup trophy.

Blackhawks captain Connor Bedard posed with captain of the International Team, Geoff Ogilvy, and had a custom Hawks jersey for him, with “Team Intl” on the nameplate.

Alex Vlasic met with ten-time PGA Tour champion Brandt Snedeker at the event.

Pro golfer Chris Gotterup, who is competing for the United States at the tournament, rocked his own Blackhawks jersey for Day 2 of the tournament.

The Blackhawks open their season against the Vegas Golden Knights on Tuesday as part of ESPN’s opening night tripleheader at 10:30 p.m. ET.
